About the Artist

Tim Isaak

My photographic work is primarily landscape, in both natural and urban settings. I prefer to use the available light and my treatment of subjects is often at least partly abstracted. Often I find myself seeking new and unique approaches to well known subjects. A particular interest of mine is low-light photography, with artificial light sources providing some of the illumination in non-natural settings. Low-light and artificial light can reveal colours, shapes and textures which would be altered or hidden during daylight.
